Ham Bokum Bap {Ham Fried Rice}

Bokum (or Bokeum) Bap has always been one of my favorite things to eat when I lived back in Korea. There are no rules to making it, either. You just add your favorite ingredients and stir fry it with rice. Korean fried rice doesn’t usually use too much soy sauce. It’s usually seasoned with salt and a little bit of sesame oil.

This is more of a healthy version of fried rice. I used Korean ham – I had some leftover ham that I had used making Kimbap rolls. I also added some bell peppers and broccoli, too. Pretty simple.

If you prefer soy sauce, then add some. But I like my rice white for some reason so I stuck with salt which is more of a Korean style. If you like other ingredients like chicken or beef, or maybe even seafood, then add them to the rice.

What a great idea for a simple fried rice – not too salty!
