Homemade Taco Seasoning
People say homemade anything is better than store bought stuff. While I cannot say that’s true wholeheartedly since there are some things that just are better than homemade stuff, I’d say this taco seasoning really is better than the store bought ones. Making taco seasoning yourself is that you can always leave out or add the flavors that you don’t care for. Like my husband does not like onions… so I normally don’t add onion powder for that reason. However, all you onion lovers like me can add onion powder or add a little more chili flakes if you want more heat.
I don’t really like to go to Mexican restaurants since I’m not a huge fan of burritos or things that they have there. But I do love cooking Mexican fusion meals at home. I have a bad experience with restaurant tacos so now I never order tacos at restaurants. So it was necessary to come up with a good taco seasoning recipe so that I could enjoy delicious homemade tacos at home.
My husband particularly loves it when I make homemade seasoning. He likes the fact that you can add or omit certain seasonings according to your appetite.
Here are all the ingredients you need to make this seasoning. All the ingredients are very easy to get and you probably have all these in your cupboard already.
