Strawberry Banana Nutella Smoothie

Strawberry Banana Nutella Smoothie

I think maybe discovering Nutella was a big mistake. Not because it’s not good or anything.. It’s just that it’s too good. Too good that I can’t stop eating it. It requires a good amount of will power to stop buying them all together. I did try not to buy it for a while… Well, it didn’t last long. I love having it in my house, even though I try not to eat too much of it now but the kids love it and I love having it around just in case I want to make something yummy with it. It happens more than you could ever imagine!

Nutella is really good on a piece of toast, yes. And it’s really, really good with fruits! Especially with bananas and strawberries!! My four year old always asks for Nutella when he’s eating a banana. The kids knows what’s good!

Then I thought, maybe I should combine strawberries and Nutella in a smoothie! And it was pretty good! If you like Nutella dipped strawberries, you will enjoy this smoothie. It’s like Nutella dipped strawberries in a drink!

In your blender, combine strawberries, bananas, milk, nutella and ice and blend! That’s it! So easy, right?!

Strawberry Nutella Smoothie

  • ½ frozen banana
  • 4-6 frozen strawberries
  • ⅓ cup plain yogurt or vanilla flavored yogurt
  • ⅔ cup soy milk
  • 2 tablespoons Nutella (or more)
  • 1 teaspoon cocoa powder
  • ½ cup ice cubes (optional if using non-frozen fruits)

  1. In blender, combine all ingredients and pulse until smooth.

My way of eating nutella is spoon and nutella jar LOL but you are so right it takes a strong will power not to buy it or not to eat it..I blame it on my hubby or the kids when I grab it from the store shelf!:)
Anyhow this is genius idea..very delicious combination!
